VMI In Terms of Nuclear Softness

Abstract

Taking the concept of nuclear softness and the harmonic variable moment of inertia model VMI, were used to
obtain a new formula ,denoted (VMINS model) which used in calculating the energies of rotational ground bands for
some even-even nuclei. The predicted results of the VMINS model are in good agreements with the VMI result and
the experimental data.
