Complex of grafted cellulose copolymer was prepared from the reaction of cellulose with monomer (Nmethacryloxyphthalimide). This monomer was prepared from the reaction of metha acrylic acid with Nhydroxyphthalimid in presence of N,N-Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide(DCC). The prepared compounds were characterized by IR,1HNMR, X-ray, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), electronic spin resonance(ESR) and the Biological activity for these compounds were also studied and give positive antibacterial and antifungal
